Find The Credit Card For Your Lifestyle

It’s hard to make a go of it nowadays without a credit card. Credit cards have become indispensable both in daily life and our financial life. It used to be that credit cards were expensive and kept just for major expenses, but these days no purchase is too small or mundane for a credit card. It’s not surprising that many people have multiple cards. In fact, I have four credit cards myself.

I guess the secret to making the most out of your credit cards is to find the credit cards that best fit into your lifestyle. For this you need to look at credit card reviews. Do you like collecting frequent fliers miles? Get a card that helps you accrue miles with every purchase. Do you like getting cashback on your purchases? Find a card that gives you cashback bonuses. Do you have past credit problems? Apply for a bad credit credit card.

When you do try to find cards that fit your lifestyle, make it a point to check out the Credit Cards Club. They’ve got listings for the credit cards that fit your lifestyle. Not only can you browse for credit cards from all the best credit card companies, but you can also search through their listings for offer that’s perfect for you. Check them out for your credit card needs.

Research Shows That Product Specific Reviews Rock

I just came across an interesting piece of information on the net while trying to get monetization ideas. A research study at the University of Pennsylvania showed that 48% of commercial queries are product specific queries while another 27% of commercial search engine queries are informational, such a reviews.

It seems like someone taking advantage of these facts would come up with a review site. One of my sites, weather electronics, stands as a pure weather in general information site. I’ve had it in the back of my mind to update it, but I couldn’t think of the right way. Now, armed with this new information, I think I will be added product specific reviews to the site in hopes of generating more revenue for it.

A Bright Future For Social Spark

SocialSpark is live. I was a little bit leery when I first heard about the project and really didn’t see the true potential of it. That was before I had a chance to see it in action for myself. Once I signed up, I became a believer. It is a marketing concept that can totally revolutionize online advertising in ways that even payperpost was unable to. I am excited that SocialSpark asked me to write a review about their new way to advertise.

Advertisers can create opportunities for bloggers to complete. That’s not new, but what is new is that the opps are nofollow and have full disclosure. Bloggers can choose to give either a positive or negative review of the post. The reviews truly are reviews that can help a website or business improve their offerings.

Another great advantage of the SocialSpark is that everything is transparent. It’s also a social networking platform. It’s easy to see the bloggers in the system. Bloggers and advertisers can leave public feedback on each other. The level of communication between advertisers and bloggers has never been better. There is a street team feature for advertisers where they can assemble teams of their favorite bloggers for projects.

Every blogger and every advertiser has a profile on the system. The Louis profile is mine. It allows me to publicly say a little about myself and a little about what I am doing as well as let other to leave comments about me and my blogging.

The only thing I am not as keen on is the dynamic pricing, but that’s a huge positive for advertisers. I guess there’s nothing wrong with providing an advertiser friendly marketplace.

I really think a bright future awaits SocialSpark.

My Favorite Tools

I am often asked what my favorite tools for working on my websites are. People really want to know just how I do some of the work I do. I don’t blame them. It’s easier to start on a known path than it is to completely start from scratch.

That said, here are my five favorite tools for working on the web.

1) Izea Real Rank

2) Gedit

3) WordPress

4) My Ping Script

5) Wikipedia

In a future post, I will elaborate on ways to use each one.

Like Horror Movies? Prepare To Be Scared

I am sure you are all aware of the movie ratings. You know rated G, PG, PG-13, R, and NC-17. Just about every movie that goes to the movie theaters have a rating. Theaters are very shy to show an unrated movie for obvious reasons. Well, starting on May 9th, Frontier(s) will be shown uncut and unrated in selected movie theaters around the US.

Frontier(s) is a controversial movie. Anytime a movie gets shown unrated in a theater, you know that the movie is going to be over the top. Check out the Frontier(s) Trailer yourself and see how quickly you get scared. I frankly was just about mortified. I can see why it is unrated and if I wanted to be really scared then I would check it out in the movie theater. There is nothing like seeing a horrifying movie in a dark theater, if you want to feel fear. That’s why you like horror flicks, right?

The story revolves around some crooks who just pull off a heist in Paris and decide to make a small hotel their hideout. We all know what happens in small hotels, right? It’s a horror film so you can guess what happens next. Now, make that image as goring and disgusting as you can imagine. The movie is much gorier than that. Get the idea?

If you are too scared to see the movie in a theater, you don’t have to wait long for the DVD release. On May 13th, the DVD is released. If you want to scare your friends, I’d suggest showing it to them ASAP, before they get chance to see it on their own.
