A friend of mine just got out of drug rehab about three weeks ago. We are so proud of him because he was been able to stay sober. This is something important for us because we don’t want our friend to lose any more than he already has. I know it’s getting to be the New Year and a chance for new beginning. I am glad that we have a new beginning to celebrate.

I’m 14 years sober. The trick is… Don’t get high. Pretty damn simple when you think about it. I take that back; Newly sober people shouldn’t think. That is the problem, they think too much.
I love sobriety, but reality is still a bitch!
