If you’re not a citizen of a western country and you want to travel between Asia and South America, you can have a difficult time of it. I was pricing out the flights and they are very reasonable, without even taking into account bucket shop discounts.

The Emirates Airline website is quoting 30,700 baht( less than $900) for a one way to Sao Paolo from Bangkok and the Manila to Sao Paolo flight is close to $1100. Similar airfares are found in other Asian cities. Emirates through Dubai is really a good option for those wanting to go to South America.
