Asia to South America

If you’re not a citizen of a western country and you want to travel between Asia and South America, you can have a difficult time of it. Most planes between Asia and Latin America transit through the US or Europe. Europe sometimes isn’t a problem to transit through without a visa, but it’s impossible to transit through the US without a visa. With sky high airfares, travel is difficult to say the least.Thankfully, it’s no longer an issue.

Emirates Airlines now offers non-stop flights from Dubai to Sao Paolo, Brazil. With connecting flights available from nearly every major Asian airport, you’re just one stop in Dubai from Sao Paolo. I was pricing out the flights and they are very reasonable, without even taking into account bucket shop discounts.

The Emirates Airline website is quoting 30,700 baht( less than $900) for a one way to Sao Paolo from Bangkok and the Manila to Sao Paolo flight is close to $1100. Similar airfares are found in other Asian cities. Emirates through Dubai is really a good option for those wanting to go to South America.
