It’s so important these days to look into expanded educational opportunities. It’s a familiar topic that I like to write about because I have seen myself how training can lead to better job opportunities and a better income. Training is the path I choose to take when I moved out of the teaching profession and into my current profession. If I decide to move onto another career, I know I will make the change by first getting quality training.
In the IT realm, training has quickly become synonymous with certification. Certification exams show that you have knowledge and expertise in the area. It’s possible to get that expertise from working on a product or, more often, by taking special training courses that are geared towards passing the certification exam.
Cisco certification is one of the leading tech certifications. If you are not familiar with them, Cisco makes the routers that literally run the internet. These routers make sure that traffic goes where it needs to go. Routers are complex pieces of hardware and it takes an expert to ensure that they are properly configured and are as efficient as possible. Having Cisco certification is proof positive that you have the skills needed to manage and maintain Cisco routers.
It’s a popular certification among techies because it’s the pathway to higher paying jobs and better job opportunities. If you are tech inclined, maybe it’s time you look into Cisco certification. It can be a great credibility builder.

Arguing over the internet is one of the lamest things someone can do, but check out forums all over the net and you can see it going on regularly. I think the lifeblood of any internet forums is the arguing, accusations and flaming. It’s ridiculous.
It’s also the domain of losers. People without the gumption to do it in person think that they can just get on the internet and do it and then everything is just ok. They feel like they can be little keyboard warriors and convince everyone that they are in the right. In the end, they just end up convincing people that they are a loser.
Oh sure, they might get the support of a few other losers but that doesn’t change the fact that they are losers.

In beautiful Orange, Texas, just off Highway 90 near the Louisiana border, you can find one of the most interesting western art museums in the US. It truly is a gem of a museum that is like a hidden treasure. At the Stark Museum of Art, you’ll find Western art, American Indian art, and even rare books and manuscripts. Their collection truly capture the spirit of the region.
The Stark Museum of Art is run by the Stark Foundation. HJ Lutcher Stark was a prominent Texas businessman who worked tirelessly to promote education and cultural in the southeast corner of Texas. He was an avid art collector specializing in southwestern art that he and his wife would discover on their frequent trips to New Mexico throughout the 1940’s and 1950’s. In 1961 established the Nelda C. and H.J. Lutcher Stark Foundation which later became simply the Stark Foundation in order to promote cultural education in southeastern Texas.
The Stark Foundation has worked to improve educational and cultural opportunities in Orange, Texas. They’ve restored the Shangri La Botancial Gardens, the HW Stark House, and built the Frances Ann Lutcher Theater for the Performing Arts. The city of Orange has become a cultural lighthouse in southeast Texas.
Some of the impressive collections of the Stark Museum of Art are available right on its website. Anyone interested in Western or Native American art would do well to check out their online collections. It’s an enriching experience just clicking through the online collection of art. One thing is clear, the collection is truly one of a kind.
Of course, the best way to experience the Stark Museum collections is in person. It’s only a few hours away from Houston by car and it’s definitely worth the visit. The Stark Museum is open Tuesday to Saturday from 10am to 5pm. Admission is free so you have no excuse not to see this great cultural asset.

I always suggest to my friends that they get a good education and they should take every opportunity that comes their way. You can never get enough education. It not only pertains to the US but to developing countries. The problem with education in developing countries is that the education opportunities might not be recognized abroad. This why I am suggesting to my friends in the Philippines that they look into Berkeley International University Philippines.
We all have unique opportunities to learn and we need to seize them every chance we get. If there is a certificate program that interests you, take it. You may not need it now, but you might need it in the future. If you take it now then you are prepared. Training and education are at the doorway of success.
When I was last in the Philippines, I took a look at some of the programs that Berkeley International University is offering in conjunction with Philippine universities and I was impressed. The only way education is going to be improved in the Philippines is if existing universities take the lead in following an internationally recognized curriculum.
I plan on visiting the offices of Berkeley International University Philippines again when I am back in Cebu. I’d like to see about helping some of my wife’s family enroll in their programs.

If you are paying for monthly web hosting, your webhost is probably supplying you with some type of control panel. A control panel is an interface that helps you better manage aspects of your website. One of the most popular control panels is CPanel. It’s feature rich, but it can be a bit daunting at first to learn how to best take advantage of it. That’s where cPanel tutorials from Webhostingrating.com can come in handy.
They’ve got a nice selection of tutorials and articles on various aspects of webhosting. It’s really great. They are great place to go to educate yourself about webhosting and finding a great webhost. If you are interested in webhosting information, check them out.

I am looking into some alternative certification programs lately. I love teaching and know that I could do a lot of good in the classroom. I know I could do good and contribute if I was a teacher. An alternative certification program would allow me to be certified and get a good job.
I like the benefits that teaching offers and it would be good for our family. I am looking into programs in Texas and Florida right now and I’m seeing what they offer. I think it’s a great opportunity, if I decide to go for it. I do miss the classroom from time to time.
I wonder where I could be teaching in Florida or Texas?
