A few weeks ago we bought ourselves a new LCD TV. It’s nice having a new TV that doesn’t have lines through it. I love having the great looking picture and seeing detail that I didn’t even know I was missing. It’s awesome for playing my PS3 games on. I love it and I can’t believe that I lived without it. I am already thinking about getting a second one, hmm, if I can convince my wife.

With Christmas around the corner, it’s time to look for a family Christmas gift. I have been looking at plasma tvs lately and I am thinking about taking the plunge and getting the family a good tv for Christmas. All I am trying to decide between now is the plasma tv and an lcd tv. It looks like the plasma might win out. We will just have to see.

One of my favorite pieces of consumer electronics is my MP3 player. Mp3 players allow you to listen to music wherever you go. It’s not just a few songs, you can literally carry your entire music collection around with you in your pocket. For me, this means that I can enjoy music wherever and whenever I want to. This is a huge bonus and the biggest reason why my MP3 player is so important.

I was looking at improving my car audio system the other days. That meant that I was done in the shop trying to find the best car audio subwoofers and other speakers needed to make my sound system sound great. It’s fun checking out the different sound systems, but boy are they expensive. Whatever happened to the cheap car stereo system? I guess I will be buying the stuff online in order to save some money.

I talked earlier about remodeling my office and the productivity increases I got from that. Having a well appointed and designed office really helped me focus better on getting my work done. Now, maybe it’s time to look into making my living room look better so my relaxation is more productive. I’d love to put in some new tv furniture to really make the living room closer to a real home entertainment center. It sure would make evenings a lot more fun.
