A friend of mine has dropped cable tv in an effort to save money. He’s using an outdoor antenna to get all of the HD TV channels for free. This got me to thinking about doing the same and saving some cash. My cable tv bill is way too high so maybe I can put up an antenna and do the same. I’ve been scouring the net looking at antenna reviews and seeing which ones might be the best.
I have learned that an HDTV antenna is a little bit different than a traditional antenna so getting one made especially for HDTV is a good idea. Hmm, the idea of saying goodbye to cable tv with an HDTV antenna is seems very good in this economy. Best of all, my 48 inch LCD TV will still get the same great pictures.

It seems like every sport has its equipment. My wife wants to get into horse riding and this is clearly the case as well. My wife is busy looking at the different equestrian apparel available on the internet since it is very difficult to find it locally. I think she will look cute in it, but I am scared of the costs.
If she truly enjoys this sport then it’s all ok. I just really want her to have a nice time.

I think I need to get some outdoor furniture in the next month or so. The 4th of July is just around the corner and if I want to have a big party this year, I need to get some furniture for the backyard. Now I just need to figure out what I will have out there. Do you guys have any ideas about what I can use to make the best use of my backyard?

One of the things I really like doing is going to the beach in the afternoon and practicing my golf swing. I love going out with 20 or 30 used golf balls and hitting them all one by one. I love watching them plunk down in the water. Of course, I am cheap so after I hit them all, I send my two boys out in the water to collect them all. It’s fun for me and certainly fun for them. Generally they are able to locate all of the golf balls.

We are getting a new spa and I am concerned about keeping it warm without spending a lot of money. No one really wants a cold spa, right? Anyways a buddy of mine suggested that I use a special spa cover that keeps the heat in and also captures the energy of the sun to warm up the spa even more. According to him, it will cut down on my energy use a lot.
What do you all think?
