Ok, for the last several days,I have been running a sponsorship of this site from CRISS ANGEL Believe. It’s about time I talk a little bit about the Criss Angel’s new Cirque du Soleil performance.
If you are not familiar with Criss Angel then you have probably been living in a cave. I first saw him on Larry King. I was just amazed at how he could perform both the simple and complicated magical illusions with ease.
When listening to him, I sensed that he was a nice guy who could do some of the most wonderful things. He differs from past illusionists like Houdini in that he has much more technology to work with. This means that the illusions can be much more grand and intricate while at the same time working with the simple assumptions that we all make.
It’s nice to see that he has a show in Las Vegas at the Luxor Hotel as part of the Cirque Du Soleil. I know that when we make it down to Vegas next time, we will be taking in his show. I think his performances are going to become one of the must see events of Vegas, kind of the like the Wayne Newton of years past.

I have recently wanted to start watching HDTV without paying for the special HDTV channels on Cable TV. I read on the internet that it was possible to build a simple antenna to go on the roof that would get in the UHF channels that make up the bulk of the HDTV channels.
I was surprised how easy it was to make a Bowtie Dipole antenna. All I need was a 2×4, a piece of plywood, aluminum foil, and some stiff wire. I cut the wire into 14 inch pieces and then folded them in a v shape. I put 4 of them 7 inches apart on the 2 by 4 and connected them with wires to 300 ohm antenna lead.
The results were awesome. It was no problem getting all of the local channels once I mounted it on the side of the house.
After watching the awesome season premiere of In Plain Sight on June 1st, I am ready for the new season and I couldn’t help but get into the spirit of things. I decided to make up about hiding out and let my readers try to guess where I am. It’s in the US, but you’ll really have to guess.
Can you guess where I am? I leave a few clues in this video about where I am. Try to pick them out. It shouldn’t be too hard, if you know your geography and can use google. I think I have left 4 good clues in this video.
Summertime is hot and it’s the best season for hot music. Looking back, I’ve got many memories of great summertime songs. I remember back to summertime concerts and summertime radio. I’ve got some great memories. This July, the Radio Disney Summer Concert Series is going to be at Morey’s Piers. Maybe it’s time my kids have some great summertime music memories.
This is a great chance to catch all of the the best Radio Disney stars live on stage and is something kids will love. Best of all, the concerts are free. In fact, there will be special events and activities surrounding the concert series. This concert series needs to be on a list of things to do in New Jersey for sure.
FYI, Morey’s Piers is in Wildwood. If you make the trip, to see this or other Wildwood events, you’ll be able to choose from several great Wildwood nj hotels. It will truly make the trip into a vacation.
That’s right. There are so many things to do at Morey’s Piers and in Wildwood. You might as well make it into a summertime vacation that takes advantage of the great things to do in Wildwood and takes in the great summer concert series at Morey’s Piers.
Hmm, I wonder if my wife will let me have fun at Morey’s Piers waterpark?
Ah, the Dockers commercial contest is going full blast now and there are some great video commercials out there just ready to be watched. It’s exciting how people have put so much effort into making a great commercial for Dockers.
I really liked the one by Robert Gudino entitled More than Pants. I was just laughing hysterically as I was watching it. He delivered it so deftly and so entertainingly. I think it was a great video and I hope it wins the contest.
I sure wish I would have submitted one for the contest. If you had the opportunity, then I hope you took it. Right now the voting has opened for the finalists in the contest. That means now is the opportunity to make your voice heard on what you think the best commericial is. It’s a chance to help decide the best commercial in the Dockers contest.

Ok, Father’s Day is coming up. I hope all of you got something great for Mom, but you better make sure that you don’t leave Dad out in the cold without a great gift. He’s done a lot for you and it’s time that you think about giving him something real special for Father’s Day. How about a Father’s Day in HD?
That’s right, you know Dad likes TV. I know my dad was always the King of the Remote Control. When he was at home, the remote control rested in his lap, used like a royal scepter. The TV was an integral part of our house. Unfortunately, my dad didn’t live to see HDTV in all its awesomeness, but I know if he was still with us, I’d enter him in the new Charter Contest to win a huge HDTV, HDTV service and Charter Bundle free for life. What a great gift to give your dad for Father’s Day.
