I got a great idea from a friend of mine the other day to keep track of your personal inventory. He suggested that I use bar codes on each thing I own. Then all I need to do is use a barcode scanner and scan everything in. This way I have an easy to keep record of things I own. This can come in handy if I need to make an insurance claim or something, or so he said.

It seems complicated, but it’s interesting nonetheless.

If there is one mantra that I try to tell students time and time again, it’s that they should always try to learn more about a topic. It’s doesn’t matter if they are studying social studies, government, math or even beauty products, learning more is something that they need to do in order to find success in life. The more they learn, the more informed they are and the more prepared they are to make good decisions. Learning begins by taking a first step. It’s time.

We are looking at buying a cheap RV in the next month or two to use for camping this summer. We are looking for something smaller than 23 feet, but we are open to about any size if the price is right. I think it’d be great to have a place to rest on wheels when we head out to the woods. My wife, on the other hand is concerned about expenses and she is making me come up with a whole list of costs associated with an rv, including rv insurance. I guess I have some paperwork to do.

Anyone have any ideas?

I was looking at a bunch of sinks the other day and I was kind of interested in them. They have some styles available, especially the nice Toto sinks. My wife wants us to redo most of her bathroom and that means getting new sinks and bathroom accessories. It will cost some value but the positive outcome is that the value of our home will increase. Any increase in home value is important in this market.

Many people have put bars into their home in an effort to increase the value of their home. It’s a great way to entertain friends as well. Unfortunately, things get old and there comes a time when every bar needs some renovation work. This means that you need to put in new equipment such as a new chairs or new bar faucets in an effort to keep everything working and looking great. Don’t forget this when looking through your home for things to remodel or renovate.
