I love my crock pot. It’s a great thing to have around the house and it always serves me good. I can make good food on the go, plug it in, go out and when I get back, I have hot cooked food waiting for me. The problem is finding good crock pot recipes. I know this is only going to appeal to a very low number of people, but I sure wish I would have known this a few weeks ago or even sooner. I only discovered it by chance. We all know Paypal. Who is Netbank? An awesome internet only bank that gives you a visa check card and atm, it is damn easy to make deposits to it, and they charge no atm fees.

Up until sometime in the last couple of months, you couldn’t use the netbank account to be verified with Paypal. Who knows why, but now you can use it. Now it is even easier for people like me to use Paypal. It is now easier to put funds on my account and with the PayPal debit card, I am set. Thanks, PayPal.

I found this very interesting entry on being a free lance journalist abroad. Great advice, but after reading it, one paragraph sticks out in my mind and makes me ask myself a question. The question is just how many magazines and newspapers are there in the UK? I would have assumed there were a lot, but now I am left wondering.

Now read this paragraph:

Finally, buy a copy of every single magazine and newspaper published in the UK and pack them in your suitcases. There is no substitute for having the original copy in front of you to get a feel of a publication before writing that all important pitch.

It now appears that there are not nearly as many as I thought since it is possible to put a copy of every magazine and newspaper published in the UK in your suitcase. I am shocked to say the least.

Here it is, the end of June, what can we do? Boredome sets in and there is nothing to do, wrtier’s block sets in and there is nothing to write about, where did my inspiration go? I have no idea wehre it went so how can I find it? Maybe my inspiration will find me.

I just don’t understand country music anymore. I was looking at a recent country music charts in the states and I couldn’t recognize almost all of the singers on it. I did recognize one group, Bon Jovi. Bon Jovi on the country charts? Who would have thought that back when I started listening to them back in 1986 even though they had wanted Dead or Alive that was kind of country.

Upon doing a bit more searchig, I found this song by Clint Black. I used to have a lot of respect for Clint Balck and his music. That was until I saw “Iraq and I roll.” Ok, the message is ok, but the way the song is done, he comes off very corny. Come on, a blatant propaganda piece, do they not think that we can pick out a propaganda piece? Never mind, I posted the lyrics here for you all to see.
