One of the things that you can do to make your property better looking and more valuable is to put in a pond. These are easy to do and can result in a good looking place to relax beside. Understand that it doesn’t have to be big. Sure being big means that you can stock it with some fish, but even a small pond can add to the aesthetics of your property. Just remember to make sure you have an adequate pond pumps to it.

Good Time To Buy A Home
July 6th, 2009 — real estate
I was just looking into that new $8,000 first time home buyer credit that was recently given out. It’s pretty cool, $8000 in cash can go a long way to making a home even more affordable. It could also be used to fix up a fixer upper house. Imagine how much porcelain tile you could buy with it? Yes, it’s a lot. Think about what else you could get? It sure is a good time to buy a home.
Saipan Real Estate
March 29th, 2009 — real estate
I am doing a bit of research on Saipan real estate and there seems to be some impressive buys out there right now. Saipan has been braving tough economic conditions for a few years now and things look like they will pick up in the next year or two. When that happens, real estate prices will go up dramatically.
Not only is Saipan a great place to live with white sandy beaches, friendly locals, and a low cost of living, but a Saipan real estate investment could pay off handsomely in the medium term. It’s definitely worth a check.
Resilient Real Estate Markets
December 1st, 2008 — real estate
Believe it or not in this current crisis there are pockets of the US that still have a rather resilient real estate market where home values are holding steady or even increasing. These are places where you can still find real estate value. Just take a look at Wilmington NC real estate and you’ll see a market that still offers real value.
It’s these markets that will lead the US housing industry out of the slump and build further economic growth that will drive the US economy. Can anyone suggest other markets where real estate is still growing?
Shipping Container: Your New Home
November 15th, 2008 — Personal Projects, real estate
When looking at different projects to implement, I keep going back to the idea of shipping container housing. Shipping containers are discarded at ports around the US and can be be bought cheaply. It doesn’t take much modification to make them usable housing.
It’s the fact that they can be cheaply modified into custom housing that makes them such a great solution and great project to better the lives of those are struggling with affordable housing. It’s interesting to see all of the different shipping containers homes that are being implemented lately.
You can see an example of one of these types of homes on the left. Just curious, how many of you would be interested in living in a shipping container?
