If you are not familiar with Criss Angel then you have probably been living in a cave. I first saw him on Larry King. I was just amazed at how he could perform both the simple and complicated magical illusions with ease.

When listening to him, I sensed that he was a nice guy who could do some of the most wonderful things. He differs from past illusionists like Houdini in that he has much more technology to work with. This means that the illusions can be much more grand and intricate while at the same time working with the simple assumptions that we all make.

It’s nice to see that he has a show in Las Vegas at the Luxor Hotel as part of the Cirque Du Soleil. I know that when we make it down to Vegas next time, we will be taking in his show. I think his performances are going to become one of the must see events of Vegas, kind of the like the Wayne Newton of years past.

I like Twitter and I use it often, but it cuts a double edged sword. I give up a little of my personal privacy for the ability to leave updates to my friends and family. I also give up a little of the freedom I have to speak my mind. It easy for anyone to use search engines and found out exactly what you think and your opinions and then use them against you.

And there goes your freedom….

Today, I began to seriously look into Cisco certification. I know it might be a difficult certification for me to get, but it will be a very valuable certification that will pay dividends in the form of a better job. Just the credibility alone of a decent certification will be worth its weight in gold. It will be the perfect complement to my existing IT skills and expertise.

Normally, when I look into certifications and how I can teach myself the material that is taught in them. This works well for software, but since the Cisco certification is about the hardware, I will not be able to just sit at the computer and play around with it until it gets working. Nope, I am going to need to find a training program that goes along with the certification program.

Naturally, I am excited about this. I know that I will be able to keep working as a consultant(with an expanded level of expertise) or I can even take on contract employment to implement and manage Cisco routers and systems. I guess this is what has got me salivating right now. I am really looking forward to the opportunities.

It had been accepted that the Earth was the center of the Universe. He also discovered moons around Jupiter and Saturn. He was the inventor of the telescope.

Galileo Galilei was a curious person and it lead him to many discoveries. He was intellectually honest. His strong determination means that he never gave up his studies. He withstood much persecution from the Catholic Church for his beliefs. Through it all, he became a successful man who is revered by many scientists.

With summer time in full swing, it’s time to start thinking about road trip vacations once again. I am trying to decide if I need a chair, a new desk, or even a different work area. I really want to be as comfortable as I can so that I can be as productive as I can. Lost productivity is lost income.

Maybe I will be able to change around my home office when I get around to getting a new office computer. I guess I need to keep some budget leftover for a good work environment.
