Another question I get asked on a regular basis is how to increase web traffic. It’s tough to make any money online without traffic. If people aren’t visiting your pages, how can they complete offers? How can you increase revenue? I have a few simple ideas to increase your web traffic.
1) Leave comments on other blogs. Make the comments meaningful. Leave your web address in the space for the URL and only post a link in the comment when a post of yours actually deals with the content in question. An afternoon of blog commenting is a good way to build traffic. People will read your comment and visit your page. If they like what they see, they’ll be back.
2) Make sure you choose relevant titles and keywords in your posts so that people can find your posts when they go to the search engines.
3) Put your URL in a forum signature and make quality posts on forums related to your topic. People will visit your webpage to find out more about you.
If you can do this, you can generate some decent traffic to your site. I have more advanced ideas that I will share with you a bit later.
