Our Economic Policy vs Small Business

Our economic policy seems to be, bail out every big company or big industry and let the little guy suffer. It seems like they have forgotten that small business is the growth engine of the US economy. It seems like it would be much better money spent to prop up and encourage small businesses. I have said it before and I will say it again, the best way to handle the economy crisis would be to put money in the hands of those with a proven track record to create jobs.

It would be great to see serious efforts made to support small businesses and encourage them to produce new jobs. Small businesses are the innovators. I know we are going to come out of this economic crisis and it will be the small businessman that leads the way. I just wish those making economic policy would realize it.
