Sleep? How Much?


I am always curious how much sleep we need as adults. Of course kids need a lot of sleep, but as we get older the amount of sleep we need decreases. So just how much sleep do we need in order to keep our body in good health?

I am not sure of the answer to that question. I know the body needs a minimum amount of sleep, but I don’t know how it figures in with how much it really needs. I think it does differ by individual, know I need at least 5 hours even though my body seems to beg me for 9 hours of sleep a night. In fact on less sleep I do feel more productive and it seems like I can get more done with less hassles.

What do you think? How much sleep do we need?
