Vegas Is Changing

Several months ago, I had a chance to make it through Las Vegas. I didn’t have enough time to make a vacation out of it, but I did have a day in Vegas to check out the city that I used to live in. Every time I make it through Las Vegas I am amazed at how much new construction growth there is. It seems like there are new las vegas hotels, new shopping centers, and even entire new housing developments that have sprung since my last visit.

When I make our Las Vegas vacation later this fall, I think I will spend a day in a rental car just checking out all of the old parts of Vegas and chronicling the changes. I know that today, it is hardly recognizable from when I first hit Vegas back in 1986.

Golfing In Las Vegas

I love golfing in Las Vegas. In fact, I first learned how to golf in Las Vegas back in the 1980’s. I find it to be a relaxing activity and nothing beats golfing in Las Vegas. It’s no wonder that Las Vegas Golf is a major tourist draw. It’s just part of the Las Vegas experience.

My favorite golf course is the Desert Pines Golf Club. It’s located not far from the strip, but location isn’t why I love. I love it because of the large pine trees that dot the landscape. It’s a very relaxing course. I’ve heard it referred to as the Pinehurst of Vegas, but I think Pinehurst pales next to the Desert Pines Golf Club.

There are other courses in Vegas like the Royal Links Golf Club and the Bali Hai Golf Club that help to create a world class golf experience. In fact, visiting the three courses is like touring the world.

Travel Deal: Vegas Vacations

I am kind of curious how Las Vegas is weathering the current economic climate. I have seen some data that has come out that suggests a downturn in the Vegas economy which I find rather interesting. It looks like the number of vegas hotels are not increasing as fast as they have in the past.

Vegas is always a great place to vacation with many great things to do for the family with the added bonus of being an affordable destination. I’d think that more people would be choosing a Vegas vacation as a way to coping with the economy. Maybe more people need to discover the possibilities.

Summer Vacation In San Fran

Summer vacations are always a great thrill and provide a needed break from the hustle, bustle and stress of daily life. It’s a chance to spend time with friends or family in a carefree environment. When I think of summer vacations, I remember one particular trip to San Francisco that was a real treat.

There are many things to do in San Francisco and the summertime is the best time to visit it. The weather is cool and it feels like a natural air conditioner. You never get too hot going from tourist place to tourist place.

It was so awesome to see the many great places to see there are in San Francisco, such as Fisherman’s Wharf and Alcatraz Island. I personally loved the museums and Chinatown. A short drive south is Silicon Valley and I made the side trip. It was a blast seeing the cradle of the Digital World.

It’s been awhile since I’ve been there but I am hoping we can make it down there this summer. We still got a month. If we do, we will check out Trusted Tours & Attractions. They have got great tours and can help with things as diverse as New York City tours or things to do in Las Vegas.

Honeymoon In Vegas

I still remember my wife and I’s first trip to Las Vegas. It was during National Finals Rodeo time and it was a chance to visit some family that live in Henderson. It was a four state trip so we had plenty of vacation ideas. Since it was part of our honeymoon trip, we wanted to spend some time with my family, but we elected to spend most of our time enjoying the sights and adventures of Las Vegas.

I used to live in Las Vegas so I knew some of the more romantic things to do in Las Vegas. There is nothing like an evening under the stars in Red Rock Canyon holding the woman you love and pointing out the different constellations. We enjoyed a side trip to Mt Charleston where my wife got a chance to enjoy the snow up close and personal, but we kept going back to the attractions on the strip.

There is nothing more romantic than a dinner at any of the first class restaurants found in the many hotels. Just sitting back and enjoying her company was reason enough to be happy and content. I guess I was lucky, I was able to find the good locations because I knew las Vegas, but if you don’t know Las Vegas then it helps to know someone who can help you find the best vacation ideas.
