Wow, did you know the Great American Seafood Cook Off is coming soon? This Cook off is a celebration of the great domestic seafood dishes we know and love. There are so many great seafood dishes found throughout the US and this just celebrates them.

My favorite seafood dish will always be pink salmon. I love fresh baked pink salmon with just a hint of lemon juice. The aroma and flavor is so wonderful that it just defies description. I’d be interested to see even more recipes that use salmon. I admit that I am not a creative cook, but if I have a recipe to follow then I can try to make it work.

I am excited to see what kind of great dishes they’ll have in store at the cook off and hopefully, I will be able to get some great ideas to make my own cooking a bit more creative. One thing is for certain, the seafood is domestic so you know the quality of the seafood is great. I trust the quality and safety of domestic seafood and because of the positiveness of domestic seafood sustainability, I know it will always be available and safe.
