After this nice little tropical vacation that we went on, it sure is nice to experience life in the tropics. The weather is always great and always agreeable. Kind of like what you’d expect out of Orlando vacations, if you know what I mean. Except that you get Disney World and tons of other great theme parks in Orlando as well as many other great things to see and do.
While this beach vacation has been good for us, I know that our kids will much prefer our trip to Orlando. That will come this Fall, as long as everything goes ok.

Morey’s Piers is one of those great places to visit along the New Jersey shore and is definitely on the list of fun things to do in New Jersey. It’s a personal favorite of mine and my family’s. I remember the first time I visited there, it was awesome.
It’s winter time, but it’s not too early to think about going back for another visit. I know we are thinking about it right now. It’s just a great place for a New Jersey vacation and their website is THE place to find great hotels and motels along the Jersey Shore.
I am looking forward to ride the amusement rides with my kids and play in the waterpark. I just love the idea of getting out and spending quality vacation time with my family. It’s important and it’s nice to know that there is a place that actually cares about family quality time.
If you are like me and are looking to spend some time on the Jersey shore, now is the best time to buy season passes, tickets and gift cards. They are having a big sale until January 9th and you can save up to 40%. It’s a great way to have a Jersey Shore beach Vacation in the current economic climate.
With lots of great activities, I know we are marking it on our travel calendar. Hope to see you there as well.

I have never really been into cruises as either a form of vacationing or as a form of travel. For me, it’s trips for the elderly. Maybe that’s because the only person I know who has taken a cruise was my grandfather. Now, my atittude is changing. Either it’s because I’m getting old or I am starting to recognize the value in cruises.
For example, cruises are getting very cheap in the current economic environment. I was reading in the newspaper that Carnival Cruises has a 4 night cruise for less than $150. It’s hard to imagine any vacation as cheap as that, especially since it includes meals. That’s enough to change me into a cruise lover.

I am kind of curious how Las Vegas is weathering the current economic climate. I have seen some data that has come out that suggests a downturn in the Vegas economy which I find rather interesting. It looks like the number of vegas hotels are not increasing as fast as they have in the past.
Vegas is always a great place to vacation with many great things to do for the family with the added bonus of being an affordable destination. I’d think that more people would be choosing a Vegas vacation as a way to coping with the economy. Maybe more people need to discover the possibilities.
