My sons are really into music a lot. It all started with a harmonica for my youngest and my oldest discovered the keyboard. My youngest has progressed onto the the guitar now. My older son is now interested in the bass. I don’t know if I should go with an electric bass or an acoustic bass. Both are really cool, but I am more inclined towards the acoustic bass since I am not so much into electric instruments. I like the more natural sound that comes from acoustic instruments. I guess it all depends on what you are into.
I just wish I could make a good decision for the kids. I want them to get an instrument that they can have with them for years to come and enjoy the music that they can make. Music is one of the best ways to express yourself through art. I want my kids to have that gift for life, even though I never got it when I was younger.
