One way to market a site is by submitting your site to a directory. If you submit a web directory like the one found on Always More Careful English, you will be able to get search engines to visit your site and index it. I think they are a good thing to use when you want to make your site known.
They are also good to visit when you want to find out about sites. The directories that are done right collect only good links and keep them well categorized. This way you can find out what you want to know in the least amount of time. And you get to discover new sites. That’s why I have had the AMC Directory up for 4 months trying to get good links on it. It’s just something I like doing for people. So you should go over a submit some links and make me get to work getting them approved.
