The W3 has a xhtml validation tool to make sure your xhtml code is perfect. It’s at validator.w3.org/If you use it, it will point out all of your code errors and you can fix them and have perfect code. Xhtml and CSS is the future in design.
I used to spend a lot of time trying to make sure I had valid code, but not anymore, I’ll run it through the validator and see what kind of errors it pops out and if I can fix them in under an hour I’ll do it, but that’s all I’ll devote to it. Instead, I put in time making sure it is optimized for search engines.
better than the W3 validator, I’ve found that Lynx, the old school text internet browser is a great way to see pages as the search engines see them. W3 validation be damned, if it shows up perfect in Lynx, then validation isn’t a problem.
Anyone care to share their thoughts?
