I just downloaded and installed the new WordPress 2.5 on my test blog and it looks like my plugins are working without any problems. Yeah! That’s enough to give a nice scream and a holler about. I think I need to do a bit more checking on them to make sure before I pronounce them 2.5 compatible, but it looks very promising.
The new backend for WordPress 2.5 sure looks good. It’s a real cosmetic change so I am sure there will be some adjustment time while I figure out where everything goes and look for any bugs, but this really looks like a leap ahead in the right direction.
